We began the project by collating certain brand associated imagery which would aid us to refresh the brand - flour texture, process, contour, landscape, equipment.
We identified a need to retain the original brand font as this was well established and only needed refreshing. Concentrating on keeping clarity whilst adjusting the font arrangement to fit together in ti’s own shape. The new shape has energy about it and plays with the idea of the hand-made process through its flow and movement.
The logo needed to work across brand on printed media / online at varying scales. Developing a method of application which would bring flexibility to the brand identity of the future considerations for applications. Colour was a consideration and slate grey has been used to lift the flour white.
