Caffi Patio

Caffi Patio is a business that has grown over the past 36 years and is most popularly during the holiday months. The client wanted to retain the bright pink colour scheme already existing through the cafe. We wanted the brand mark to say ice-cream without necessarily having an ice-cream graphic.

Stripping back elements from easily recognisable ice-cream icons and seeing how far a mark can be taken before becoming unrecognisable. The brand mark was developed with the purposes of working both with and without the text.

Catering for a wide audience and highly recognised for their diverse ice-cream flavours, we wanted this to be suggested through the letterforms.

This unique brand identity has been developed through theory, creativity and quirkiness. Instead of having a single mark we have complied an manipulated the colour pink to across the entire business.
