Solution

This was a totally unique project for both us and the client. Featuring word and illustration, our output needed to be explanatory without overshadowing the food.

Our solution was creating a series of individual cards, each with a hand-drawn, interpretive illustration that enhanced the story of each dish. Due to the calibre of the competition and to demonstrate the craftsmanship behind Chef Griffith’s creations, we used a classical style of illustration across all six pieces of work. This gave the cards an established, accomplished, and refined feel. The illustrations also work together as a complete set to create a menu as tantalising as the food they describe.
