Our beach clean for Volunteers’ Week 2026

Volunteers’ Week takes place from June 1st to 7th, celebrating the work that people do in their communities. Today we got together with multiple other businesses, joining the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Trust’s Big Beach Clean. Meeting at the gorgeous Freshwater West, we set off with the aim of leaving the beach in a better condition than we found it, which we certainly did. Take a look through some of the highlights of our morning, and follow us on Instagram @monddi to stay up to date with what we get up to!

Our team headed out and battled the strong winds, admiring the dramatic waves while scouring the beach for litter.

The further along we went, the more rubbish we found buried in the huge sand dunes, making for a big job.

Thankfully, the rain stayed away so we were able to enjoy our morning in the sun.

We found a seemingly endless amount of rope buried in the rocks and wrapped in piles of seaweed.

As the tide continued to go out, more rubbish was revealed among the rocky shoreline, alongside lots of cuttlefish bones!

Freshwater West has an abundance of driftwood scattered around the beach and dunes, which made for some impressive pictures!

It was really nice to set out with so many other like-minded businesses that prioritise giving back to the community and environment.

We had a great morning and managed to collect so many bags of rubbish between us all. We can’t wait for the next opportunity!
