With so many websites, books, magazines, and social media apps out there, where do you go to find guaranteed inspo? We’ve put together this list of our favourite sites for design inspiration when that creative fog hits.
Awwwards
Awwwards is an amazing source of inspiration for web designers and developers, but it can also give you endless inspiration for brand identities or other design work, you just have to think outside the box. Showcasing websites from across the world every single day, there’s close to 6,000 websites currently in the Sites of the Day category, meaning you can scroll for hours until you stumble across that perfect piece of inspiration.

Fonts in Use
Whether you can’t quite find the right sans-serif to accompany a main typeface, or you just want some inspiring examples of typography, Fonts in Use acts as a catalogue of print and digital work using all sorts of fonts. You don’t have to worry about scrolling for eternity if you already have a font picked out and are just hunting for its perfect pairing; Fonts in Use has a filtering system so you can dive directly into examples making use of a font already, and see how other designers have treated it.

Book Cover Archive
Sometimes looking outside of the expected sources for design inspiration can make our brains whir even more. Of course, if you’re a book cover designer then this is an amazing resource, but don’t ignore it even if print isn’t your specialty. Browsing this huge catalogue of covers with creative type treatment, imagery and illustrations is sure to give you some inspiration.

The Brand Identity
A well-loved site for a reason, The Brand Identity is an incredibly well presented blog sharing all sorts of design news. The website uploads interviews with creatives, edits featuring multiple projects under one theme, and of course write ups on recent projects from design agencies around the world. If you’re looking for industry standard work, then The Brand Identity is one we’d definitely suggest checking out.

Highlighting the best in single page web design, One Page Love has an extensive list of categories for everything. Whether you’re looking for Webflow or WordPress sites, photography or finance designs, they have pretty much everything, with a full image of the entire page included with the write up.
